The consolidation of Purdue University Calumet and Purdue University North Central into the new Purdue University Northwest was destined to create a powerful institution of higher education in northwest Indiana. Rickabaugh Graphics needed to ensure that the academic brand for PNW would communicate that very dynamic. To achieve that goal, the two sides of the monogram come together to form the “N” much like the two schools combined to form PNW. And the “northwest” strokes at the center of the “N” represent the energy that this university is bringing to that region.
